Reasons for dating older married women
Dating Married Men Actually Increases A Woman’s Self-esteem Some women get a feeling of power and a boost in self-esteem when they sleep with a married man.
We’re pretty much tit-for tat in most areas—–looks, money, suaveness, boldness, and sense of humor.
Although, I think my sense of humor is a little sharper than his.
The University of Louisville, Kentucky conducted research that showed a trend among women they called, mate copying, which states that women are more attracted to a man when their peers show approval and/or attraction.
Another showed 90% of single women polled were interested in a man who they believed was taken, while only 59% wanted him when told he was single.
Many over-sixty women say it’s almost impossible to find a man around their age who is interested in starting a relationship with them and there is plenty of data to back them up.
Numerous surveys by online dating companies have concluded that most men are primarily looking to partner up with younger women and would happily pass up the opportunity to date someone their own age if a more youthful option came along. First, they say being with a younger woman makes them feel like they’ve still got ‘it’.
The scientific data are scant, but anecdotally at least, it appears that the ‘cougar’ phenomenon—relatively older women choosing sexual relationships with younger men—is experiencing a flowering of sorts.
There are a number of plausible reasons for the uptick in older woman-younger man couplings.
Many men find they begin to feel insecure within themselves as they age and for single men, the feeling is reinforced by the breakdown of their marriage and changing family relationships.
For them, being with someone younger makes them feel proud, powerful and superior.
Young women (ages 20-30) now earn on average more than young men, mainly because they are more educated.
